Engineering Services

ETREMA's staff of engineers can provide support by developing new concepts, including problem analysis, solution development, product design, fabrication, and testing. ETREMA has expertise in all aspects of magnetic analysis, structural vibration, vibration and noise control, servo positioning systems, high-powered ultrasonic systems, and actuator design. ETREMA will be happy to design a custom actuator to fit your needs.

Machining Services

ETREMA has machining facilities on-site for rapid prototyping of new designs and actuator production, staffed by full-time machinists. Unique capabilities include wire saw cutting, OD Diamond Slicing, ID Diamond Slicing, CNC Milling, CNC Turning, CAM -SmartCAM, CAD - AUTOCAD, centerless grinding, surface grinding, turning, custom assembly and milling - let us be your partner from prototype to production.

ETREMA Machine Services sprang from the need to machine a hard, brittle crystalline metal. It has expanded to support our Engineering Department and our customers' needs to produce parts using standard or unique metals.

Etrema's wide range of machining capabilities and experienced personnel allow us to repeatably produce tight tolerance parts to our customers' specifications. Our unique CNC diamond slicing equipment lends itself to working well with special materials.

Measurement Services

ETREMA can measure and document parts with our Taylor Hobson, Talyrond 265. Several different measurements can be made and can be broadly classified as:
